Inspiration for my abstract work
comes from a variety of sources. There are the conceptual abstractions where
much of the message is in the process or technique such as: "Blue On Blue",
"Derivative" and "His Tears...". Natural forms as in "Floral #9" and "Then
There Was Light ... Almost". "Black Bird" is a pun. "P'Sieh" is a cartoon
wall relief version of a Chinese dragon meant to ward off evil spirits. Is
not art anything an artist creates by definition, intentional or not? Although
I am primarily a representational artist, when abstract ideas come to me
I have to go with the inspiration. If you see anything here you would like
to purchase just drop me an email and we'll talk turkey.
