The Blue Moon Howlers are a well traveled swing and oldies rock band playing many venues across the northwest. This is a band that, with great emotion and enthusiasm, conveys classic swing tunes in an authentic style, to oldies rock n' roll, and R&B, for a great night of dancing. One style or all three, sure to please!
The band solos a lot, gets the crowd involved on our "howling" theme song and really is what you are looking for on a swing dance. We dress like the forties, have these great classic band stand fronts, and are made up of some of the very best musicians and best known players from Washington state. Great jazz and swing tunes to oldies rock from groups like Chuck Berry, Blues Brothers, James Brown, Tower of Power, and more.
If you want jazz and swing only, or a true variety show, or rock / r&b only, this is a Vegas styled show and dance band and top pros, a very special group!

Not only has this band played some of the top events in the area, such as The Puyallup Fair, Jazz in The Valley Jazz Festival, Boeing Museum of Flight, Little Creek Casino, Jazzbones, Numerous Hotels, and major festivals, corporate and private events, but the players that make up this band are all top in their field, top call guys, many are featured with various shows and have extensive national credits themselves. This is one heck of a show and not your ordinary swing band, but a total show for your event.
