Legal Experience: After receiving a J.D. from Loyola Law School, I began a general practice of law in May, 1976 and obtained a Notary Public license. I served on the Volunteer Panel of the 24th Indigent Defender Board from 1976 until 1982.
In February, 1981 I joined the staff of the Jefferson Parish Attorney's Office as a part-time Assistant Parish Attorney assigned to zoning matters. In August of 1982, I became a full time Assistant Parish Attorney and promoted to the position of Supervisor of the Legal Services Section. From June of 1989 to October 1989, I served as Interim Parish Attorney. In October of 1989, I was promoted to Deputy Parish Attorney and remain in that capacity to date.

Publications and Lectures:
In addition to my published comment as a Member of Loyola Law Review,
"Obscenity 1973", 20 Loyola Law Review 159, I am a contributing author of the
National Animal Control Association Training Guide (1989). I also gave legal training lectures to animal control officers at the National Animal Control Association Conventions and the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
In 1996, 1997 and 1998, I lectured at the Continuing Legal Education sessions of the Louisiana Parish Attorney's Association.
