                 I am a Baby Boomer; I was born in 1947 and I am a lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana (a suburb of New Orleans).
                 I am blessed with a wonderful family: two loving parents; five terrific children, Louie, Cory, Rochelle, David and Becky; two great daughters-in-law, Katie and Jodie; and a precious grandson, Connor.

                   MY SCHOOLS: After graduating from Jesuit High School in 1965, I attended Tulane University School of Engineering. I received the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1969. I next attended Loyola University School of Law and received a Juris Doctor in 1974 with Law Review Honors.

                   ENGINEERING:Following Tulane, I was employed as a Departmental Mechanical Engineer at American Cyanamid Co. in Waggaman, Louisiana from June, 1969 to May, 1976. I am Certified Professional Engineer. LSBRPELS No. 13901.

        Barrister

                     LAW:I began my legal career as a sole practitioner in 1976. I was a candidate for the Louisiana House of Representatives in 1979. Jefferson Parish SealFollowing this unsuccessful sojourn into the political arena, I returned to the practice of law. In 1980, I joined the staff of the Jefferson Parish Attorney's Office and in 1989 I became Deputy Parish Attorney.

    When I am not spoiling my grandson, I'm a computer junkie.
    My vehicle to the Information Super-Highway is a
    Gateway 2000 P5-120 with a 28.8 modem.
