I am very proud to report that on Sunday at the South County KC Rally Trial under judge Ms Moffa, Laura Chernak and her dog Kelly earned their first leg in Rally Advanced and took 4th place. Dawnmarie would like to share a breeder’s brag from this weekend at the USA Sieger Show in Danbury. In a quality class of 37 entered, many born in the US and Germany, VP1 Elka von Wymar was given the rating and placing in the 9-12 class at a national level of VP9. Elka is out of 3x VA and this years USA Sieger Teejay von Wilhendorf Sch3 KKL1 and her dam is my V2 Yani vom Christinen Brunnen Sch3 KKL1, LBZ, HIC. Elka is loved and cared for by her co-owner Diane Ontko. With all the rain and snow, we barely had any ring training done with her nor conditioning and she still had a great deal of power and stamina and loves to "show off" just like all the other females Yani produces!! We also received a big thumbs up for her Hips and Elbow prelim x-rays last month!!....................................................
Under Judge Wilhelm Nordsieck At the WGSDC of EastConn conformation show March 25th my young dogs did very well! First in the 6-9 female class we have VP1 Elka von Wymar (VA3 Teejay von Wilhendorf/V2 Yani vom Christinen Brunnen) bred and owned by Dawnmarie and co owned with Diane Ontko. Then in the same class we had VP2 Francesca von Wymar (2xVA Stanley des Collines du Boischaut/V Catja von Jabora) bred and owned by Dawnmarie. In the 6-9 male class Francesca's littermate Faber was VP2 as well. The critique on this male was the best I ever had! In the Veterans Class, The judge made special notation about Yani in first place, as he knew of her and her kennel in Germany and stated how good her bloodlines were and said I should have continued success with breeding her....................................................
I am excited to share a huge brag for March 07. With in the last 7 weeks, my female Catja von Jabora completed her Schutzhund 1, her Schutzhund 2, Her Korung' (breed survey, which is permission to breed) and received a V rating! Her scores in the Sch2 were 97 in Tracking, 82 in Obedience and 93 in Protection. I cannot express enough, the gratitude I have for her trainer, Rich LeBlond of von Grafenstein for all his help. Catja's character far exceeds anything I could ever expect in any dog. Her trainability and mind is just awesome. Without good genetics, I don't think we could have ever done this in such a short time! Catja now reads V Catja von Jabora AD, BH, Sch2, KKL1, HIC, TC OFA Good/HD Normal.....................................................................
