At Good Shepherd Montessori

We know that each child has a natural desire to learn, to explore, and to take part in the world around him/her. We nurture this desire, following the principles and practices established by Dr. Maria Montessori (and further developed by the Association Montessori International). Our classrooms contain a prepared environment and special materials designed to reinforce the child's independence and encourage his/her intellectual and spiritual development. Each child is treated as an individual and allowed to learn at his/her own pace. Through this approach, the child develops self-confidence, inner peace, responsibility, and a love of learning.

Curriculum

The Curriculum includes: Reading and Writing, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Practical Life, Refinement of the Senses, Music, Art, French, and Piano.

Full day and half day options are available. AM and PM Care are available to children enrolled in the school.
