My first Vizsla came along in November 1995. "Bodger" aka Tischler's Diamond in the Ruf CD NA NAJ got me started into the world of dogs. He was my first dog in my adult life though as a child I had many Pomeranians and an assortment of other breeds to keep me company. Bodger got me introduced into the AKC world and we dabbled in Conformation, Obedience, Agility and Hunt tests. I longed to have a puppy who could excel in all of these areas now that I was hooked on the breed. Along came Lexi born in September, 1998.
Lexi's AKC name is Am/Can Ch Classic Colors of the Wind CDX JH AX AXJ RE
The "Classic" part of her name came from her breeder Marcia Folley and Mary Ann Zeigenfuse. The Colors of the Wind part comes from a beautiful song from the Disney movie, Pocahontas.Also, Lexi has an aunt, Breeze and one of her Granddams is Mariah (notice the weather link). Lexi was born in Kentucky but she has grown up here in Western New York. She is a beautiful girl. She has grown to be 22.5" tall and she is just PERFECT. She has a wonderful lovable personality. She has the AKC Canine Good Citizen award and is a joy to train. We are currently working on Senior Hunter , UD and her Master agility titles and dabbling in Rally too.

Lexi has achieved her American Championship and she also has her Canadian Championship. She is a dog that is willing to do everything! She has had 2 litters of puppies and on the way she has also gaied her CDX, JH AX and AXJ. We are still working on obedience and agility and she is a grandma now!

I am a Vizsla rescue coordinator in the Western NY and Western Pennsylvania
regions. Please contact me if you know of a Vizsla who needs a new home!Or, if you would like to foster a Vizsla or provide a new home. I am always looking for applicants for rescues! I do not have Vizslas available all of the time. Please be patient in your search.
