GUNNADO Properties is a concept built around and about 2 wonderful people:
My Parents.
My siblings and I lived our whole lives hearing about what they were "Gunna Do". They were gunna travel, take classes, go into therapy, get out of debt, buy a new car, remodel their home, and buy land. My parents were absolute contrast. My father kept written notes about everything that happened around him and made detailed plans for everything he was "Gunna Do". My mother conversly shot--and spoke--from the hip. There was seldom a doubt about how she felt or what she wanted. Both my parents were known for their senses of humor. My father for his dry, quiet wit and my mother for knowing and remembering every joke she ever heard. She had the ability to make any situation a bit lighter. However, in 1997 my father died suddenly. My mother showed all of us a side of her we never suspected exist. My mother turned out to be one of the strongest people I had ever known. It seemed even more so when we found out her breast cancer had returned and spread. She never talked about fear or pain. She did finally admit to being tired. Seventeen months after my father died, my mother passed away. Neither of them had made it to 60 years of age. Teenage sweethearts had been reunited and left their 3 children to piece together the rest of our lives. My life and my mission is GUNNADO Properties. I am traveling, I purchased land, and my siblings have both purchased new vehicles and are remodeling their homes. We have all gotten out of debt.
The one thing my parents did not put off was teaching us the value of family. I value all of my family greatly. This includes my one remaining grandmother, my aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. When the country began talking about declining family values, I was baffled. The concept of not valuing family is totally foreign to me. My siblings and I spend time together at every opportunity, whether in person, on-line, or on the phone. We do this because we want to. Love and listening can fix most problems. This is who and what GUNNADO Properties is all about.
