Mutual-Aid response to Rutherford for an Engine Co. to respond to the scene of a 2 story residential structure fire. 32-E1 responded to the scene and provided manpower due to the extreme weather and fire conditions.
Monday 5/8/06 2334hrs : Lyndhurst FD was dispatched to a report of a working structure fire at 643 Ridge Road through a 911 call at an unoccupied hair stylist. Upon arrival Engine Co. 1, First Due, found heavy fire in the rear storage room. Main body of Fire was quickly knocked down within three minutes of arrival with an 1 3/4" hand line. Saturday 4/29/06 1516hrs. Secaucus Fire Dept. requested Mutual Aid for a large brush fire at the end of Secaucus Rd. across from NJ Transit and AMTRAK main line rails. Pictured are Lyndhurst Crews setting up to make a stop. Photos Courtesy of: Ed Grey
3/29/06: Engine 1 sets up the "LZ" for a US Army Black Hawk Helicoper to land at the Lyndhurst High School for a seminar.
Traxx Lounge 01/18/06 0326hrs.: Engine Co. 1 arrives 1st due to find fire pushing through the A & B side roof due to a fire in the cockloft. Companies made a quick and agressive knockdown once the roof was opened. The fire was placed under control within a half hour. North Arlington Ladder 3 responded to the scene due to LFD T1 out of service, and Rutherfod E2 was the F.A.S.T.

ENGINE CO. 1 ARRIVES FIRST DUE TO FIND A HEAVY VOLUME OF FIRE BLOWING OUT OF WOODY'S LIQUORS FRONT WINDOW. FIRE EXTENED INTO THE TWO ADJOING FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS, BUT WAS AGGRESSIVELY KNOCKED DOWN BY A 2 1/2" LINE.
ALDO'S NIGHT CLUB 4TH ALARM FIRE 08/07/04 ENGINE CO.1 ARRIVES FIRST DUE TO FIND HEAVY FIRE BLOWING OUT OF THE REAR WINDOWS IN THE REAR OF THE STRUCTURE ON THE #2 FLOOR. CREWS WERE FORCED TO EVACUATE WHEN THE MAIN POWER LINE BLEW CAUSING A VERY DANGEROUS CONDITION.
