About My Tractor
Above is a pic of my 1944 John Deere model A tractor. It was restored in 2001. The tractor was in running condition when bought. The tractor was purchased from a lot in East Praire, Missouri. It was painted with Dura Shield paint. So far it has won 7 great looking trophies. The engine is bored .45 over with a gas manifold. The front tires were shot so I replaced them. I purchased brand new John Deere gauges for it. I bought a rear step for it from Sharps Antique tractor works in Missouri. I also bought a exhuast cover and magneto cover from Sharps. In the pic above it is at a Car Show in Mayfield, Kentucky.
