My PANTHER

Greetings All,
Attached you'll find my 1949 Panther in its current state. I picked it up at a yard sale a good number of years ago for a couple of hundred dollars.

From what I've been able to ascertain from folks on the net, this is a 1949 Model M100 (Redwing, I believe.) Its 598cc single cylinder engine bolts directly to the frame, apparently to offset the high tech suspension system (two springs on the saddle seat)

At some point someone replaced the stock magneto with this fugazy ignition coil set up, so my first project will be to replace this with a stock magneto, and re-do all the wiring.
