Education
I began my professional training at Mississippi Woman's College. There
I received a Bachelor's Degree in Language Arts, beginning a teaching
career that spanned over twenty years and eventually led me to the mental
health field. I was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award
for Escambia County and was first runner-up as the Outstanding Teacher
of the Year for the State of Florida. I took advantage of a sabbatical
from the Escambia County School Board to earn my Masters Degree in Education,
dually majoring in Psychology and Guidance and Counseling.

Therapeutic
Approach
The physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects are all connected,
and make up the entire human being. When one or more parts is lacking,
my task is to assist the client and discern the missing part and do what
is necessary to bring in that state of wholeness.
|
Goal
It is my intent to help improve the quality of the lives of my clients,
by assisting them in forming a greater understanding of themselves and
their motivations. I provide them with the tools to make positive changes
in their lives, relationships, and communities. I continually strive to
show others how to overcome their challenges and to release the best in
themselves. |
