DAVID HANNIBAL:
Co-founder, guitarist, synthesist and didgeridu player, David Hannibal has been working with synthesizer and sampling technology for over 15 years for companies such as E-mu Systems, Oberheim and Q-up Arts. His sampling work can be heard on recordings by XTC and Fishbone, in major motion pictures (Batman, Bram Stoker's Dracula). He recently worked on the film entitled "Follow Me Home" and spent some months in the studio recording with Mickey Hart. David can be reached for music and sound design at Inface Productions.



CAIT McWHIR:
Born and raised in Ireland, co-founder, lead vocalist and lyricist, poet and storyteller, Cait has developed a striking and original vocal style which draws heavily on celtic vocal traditions. With a background in performance art and theater, Cait has recorded with such diverse projects from the Fiction Music Ensemble of New York to San Francisco's avant garde Big City Orchestra. In Haunted by Waters, she also contributes her talents on percussion and tin whistle.



GERRY BASSERMANN:
Co-founder Gerry Bassermann is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and currently owns and operates Opus Nine, a music and sound design studio in San Francisco which produces sound tracks for video and multimedia companies in addition to designing products and sounds for many electronic music companies. In Haunted by Waters, Gerry plays keys, sax, sings and plays acoustic guitars.



BEAN:
An energetic percussionist and vocalist, Bean (aka Tina Blaine) is a co-founder of the popular multimedia ensemble D'CuCKOO. She has studied and performed with master Senegalese and Congolese drummers, and recorded with Brian Eno and Mickey Hart. With a solid background in keyboards, percussion and electronic marimba, Bean has composed music for television soundtracks and video games, and currently teaches drum classes in Oakland.



JEFF OBEE:
plays six string and fretted basses, and is also an experienced synthesist and composer. He has been involved with a myriad of original and cover bands in his years as a professional musician, ranging from progressive instrumental jazz and fusion projects to pop, rock and ska groups to contemporary world ensembles. This wide array of musical experiences enables him to bring a full palette of colors and ideas to Haunted by Waters. Jeff is currently producing two CD's and doing sound design out of his studio. He also has a bright smile and is a terrific kisser.



GEFFREE ANDREWS: Haunted's drummer and newest addition, Geffree is a talented percussionist, drummer and musician. He has composed and performed music for The Santa Cruz Moving & Storage Dance Company, performed with Hassan Hakmoun, Baba Olatunji and most recently, with Joan Baez. He has also studied and played a profusion of Middle Eastern and Balkan music, most reccently in '95 with his own band, Sermons of Strangers, and has just finished recording with the group Dresden. He currently owns and operates a glass studio in Santa Cruz, and has an amazing ability to make great hats out of just about anything.



Haunted By Waters' special guests include: The eclectic acoustic violinist, Cat Taylor, infuses her electric Celtic sound on Haunted's debut CD, LIke the Dust. Cat was the music and dance director for the Renaissance Pleasure Faire and the Dickens Christmas Fair, and has performed with a diverse combination of ensembles including classical and show orchestras, pioneering Celtic Fusion band, Phoenyx and gypsy jazz-ers Go Van Gogh. Cat currently performs in the Celtic-based acoustic quartet Conundrum, and blues-funk-folk-rock band Amazon Queen.



World-Class Baroque flutist, Stephen Schultz, is a special guest on Like the Dust pushing the boundaries of his 18th century instrument with ethereal guitar effects processing. In his other life, Stephen also performs as the principal flutist with the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, American Baroque & collaborates with the Common Sense Composer's Collective.
