He is pink papered, tatooed & microchipped .He is dual registered with AKC & SV as well [ Germany's registration ] .His tatoo , microchip & DNA are all registered with AKC C.A.R. database program .Alf is a outstanding male , very large built , huge head & heavy big bone , typical of East German DDR dogs .Alf weights 124lbs , this is not fat or hair , the dog could actually stand another 10 easy without being fat ! Alf has a level drive, excellent temperment & most importantly he has a consistent scoring in all three phases of schutzhund ! Alf has been used by law enforcement ,to breed their females , in a breeding program to produce pups geared for law enforcement .We have full proof to back up this - unlike others who claim this or that - its not hot air !
Alf's bloodlines represent Germanys TOP working /schutzhund competition kennels & dogs in the history of Landesgruppen and Bundeseiger competition . ABOUT ALF
Alf arrived here taking our breath away .Upon his introduction here to our kennel he acted his part as king of the domain .He does not look for fights , nor is he dog aggressive but if a dog insist on pestering him he will assume his role as leader of the pack . He is a large confident magnifienct dog , very strong , very big built with a huge head and big boned body .He was truely worth waiting for .He is the best German Shepherd we have ever owned and he gives a new meaning to the phrase "A pleasure to own" .His loyalty is unmoving , his affection always forthcoming & his desire to please is outstanding .He is always at my side rarely taking his eyes off me .We are very thankful to have been given the the chance to honor this dog by sharing our life & home with him .Alf has a wonderful temperament with other dogs , kids , people . Semen frozen on Alf and stored at LSU Vet Hospital for our use .
