New Zealand Tv actor, Kevin Smith, best known as Ares, Xena's love interest on the cult TV series' Hercules and Xena, died of severe head injuries in a Beijing hospital on Feb 16, 2002. Nine days earlier the actor fell off a tower on a production set where he was filming a movie.

FYI,My mother, Lee, died from complications from smoking. Her 6th stroke put her in the hospital on the 15th of FEB 2002, where she died peacefully later on the 17th of 2002. Cancer isn't the only thing you have to worry about while smoking. Quite while you can, and live a better life for your loved ones.

Kevin Sorbo is something rare in actors; he's actually very nice and doesn't mind who knows it! He's been labeled 'Minnesota nice', and his fans agree. They also agree that he is worth watching, as Hercules or as Dylan Hunt in the new series Andromeda.
Born in Mound, Minnesota on September 24 1958, he looks like a Viking warrior, but Kevin is really a mellow guy. His actress wife must think so also; Kevin married Sandra (Sam) Jenkins on January 5, 1998 in California.
Kevin has returned to North America from New Zealand to star in the Gene Roddenberry show Andromeda. It is produced by Gene's widow, Majel Barret, and is filmed in Vancouver. Kevin lives in Montana, but he is happy that he is closer to Minnesota where he can visit family and fans. His fanclub is especially happy since he is now available for more pictures and meet-and-greet activities. We are keeping our fingers crossed about this!!
