About Me:
I am a 1974 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry in Forrest Grove, Oregon. After completing a specialized internship and residency in children's vision and Orthoptic Vision Training Therapy ( Visual Training / Eye Exercises ) at SUNY State College of Optometry, I was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Optometry at SUNY for 7 years.
Since then, I have had a continuous appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Optometry at SUNY, and have been a part time attending on the medical staff at the Northport VA Medical Center in Northport, NY for the past 25 years where I provide direct patient care, orthoptic therapy, and clinical seminars, teaching and supervision of residents and optometry students.
Nothing has been more personally rewarding than having the privilige and opportunity to teach and train optometry students and resident doctors for the past 32 years.
I maintain a full scope professional private practice in Lindenhurst, New York.
I am a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development ( FCOVD ), a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry ( FAAO ), and am a member of both the New York State and Suffolk County Optometric Associations.
