All members, past or present, of the 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, are cordually invited to another weekend of camaraderie and friendship in the BIG RED ONE style.
Headquarters are at the Norman Dan Motel in Pigeon Forge. Rooms are only $46.00 per night. If you would like to come earlier than Thursday, these rates will be available all week. Just ask for the Ramrods Reunion rate. Make your reservations early by calling the Norma Dan at 800-219-6809. WHAT'S GOING ON?
Come join us for a Mountain Festival, enjoying the Great Smoky Mountains before the wild crowds of summer arrive. The beauty of the Smokies serve as a backdrop for more than you could hope to see or do in just a few days.
On Thursday morning, registration begins at 8 am in the hospitality suite with coffee and doughnuts. At noon we switch to a pizza and beer party for the afternoon. Dinner is on your own (if you're still hungry) at any of the many fine restaurants nearby.
Friday begins early with our popular breakfast buffet from 7 - 9 am. We end the day with group seating at the American Jukebox Theater, a Back to the 50s & 60s Rock-n-Roll show at 7:30 pm.
On Saturday, enjoy a trip up the mountains or shopping or just hanging out at the hospitality suite with everybody else. Our evening banquet begins at 7 pm at the Norma Dan.
Sunday morning sends us safely back home (or other parts) with a continental breakfast from 7 - 9 am.
Enjoy your free time visiting attractions like Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and Ober Gatlinburg with a panoramic view from high up in the mountains, shop the many malls for name brand merchandise or the many shops for original arts and crafts. You will be provided with special discounts to area shopping and attractions.
Of course, the hospitality suite will be open until at least midnight each evening.
