78 year old women diagnosed with age related macular degeneration for 13 years. The condition was getting worse during the past year. Her physician told her there was nothing that could be done. She required a magnifying glass for reading.

Before Treatment:
Right eye can only see a few lines. Left eye sees most of the Amsler grid except for the area (hole) in lower Left quadrant.

After five treatments:
Right eye sees most of Amsler grid except for hole around the center and hole in lower left quadrant. Left eye sees most everything.

After ten treatments:
Right eye vision is only missing in the lateral area. The hole seems to have moved away from the central vision. There is still some difficulty focusing, but the center dot is seen. The Left eye sees the entire grid clearly. She can now read without a magnifying glass.

After eight treatments:
Right eye sees most of grid except for hole in lower left quadrant. The area just above that is not clear. There is still some difficulty focusing with the right eye.The left eye can see the entire grid.
