Less than a mile from a great beach on Vineyard Sound

3 blocks from downtown, where you will find galleries, gift shops, restaurants, clothing stores and snack shops

Half a block from the 3.2-mile Shining Sea Bike Path which lets you ride or walk between Salt Pond and Oyster Pond, along the beach at Vineyard Sound, within 1/2 mile of the Nobska Lighthouse and arrive at the Steamship Authority dock where you can catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard

A 7-minute drive to the heart of Woods Hole, home of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL), Steamship Authority ferry dock and several great restaurants

If you are interested in American history, you will be staying  1-1/2 blocks from the home of Katherine Lee Bates, author of "America the Beautiful," and 2 blocks from a Congregational Church whose bell was cast by Paul Revere and the Village Green, home to several whaling captains during Falmouth's Golden Age of Whaling from 1820 to 1865

If you like musical entertainment, you will be staying 4 blocks from Highfield Theater, where the College Light Opera performs nine musicals over the summer in a barn which has been converted to a theater.  Or, if you have other musical tastes, you can visit several local clubs

Rental Information

Availability:  Summer Season, 2008
                  Available June 14 through Labor Day.
        
Summer Rates:          
                    $1000 per week.    
                    (Prices subject to change)
                    Security Deposit required. Refunded after inspection of premises
                    (Charges will be deducted for any damages, L/D phone calls and $80
                    cleaning service)

Winter Rates:
                   $900 per month plus utilities.  First, last and security deposit required.
