ADVANCE has been designing paragliders since 1988, making them one of the oldest companies exclusively devoted to paraglider design and manufacture. Robert Graham (Design and Development) and Rolf Zeltner (Administration and Production) founded the company. Valéry Chapuis (Sales and Production) joined ADVANCE soon after. Thus it remans to this day. The ADVANCE team demonstrates surprising stability in the often volatile world of paraglider manufacture. ADVANCE is headquartered in Thun, Switzerland.

A truly exceptional performance intermediate! This wing is the product of over 12 months of research and development, and has emerged with a smooth, clean profile. Robert has given the SIGMA 4 a beautiful neutral feel, allowing the pilot to instantly feel at one with the wing. Additionally, The SIGMA 4 has excellent pitch stability, while still retaining the necessary energy to make a clean entrance into strong thermals. However, despite its relative security for a wing of this performance level, the SIGMA 4 is for experienced pilots only.
