ORDERING INFORMATION

 

PAYMENT & SHIPPING TERMS:

In order to offer you the best prices, High Plains only accepts payment in the form of personal checks, money orders, cashier's checks, or credit card "convenience checks". Make funds payable to High Plains Paragliding.

We have currently chosen not accept credit cards, and greatly apologize for this inconvenience. However, High Plains does offer an additional $5 discount for purchases from $99-$250 (excluding shipping) paid for with money order or cashiers check. This discount increases to 2% of the order total (excluding shipping) for orders over $250.

If an item is not in stock here, we will verify availability with the distributor, order it as soon as you place your phone order, and ship it when we receive your payment. An estimate of shipping/insurance costs will be given over the phone. If the cost has been over estimated, you will be refunded the difference. If it has been under estimated, High Plains will eat the additional charges. Our business is selling you top quality flying gear, not selling shipping and handling costs.

High Plains does not accept orders by e-mail or letter. As many customers have questions about the gear they want, we feel better if you place your order by phone. Thanks for your understanding.


* If you are not ready to buy just yet, and need guidance in finding out which wing, harness, or product is right for you, High Plains will be GLAD to help. If there is a question we cannot answer, we will find the answer and get back to you! High Plains deals with distributors who are EXTREMELY knowledgeable about what they sell, and who are committed in trying to make absolutely sure you are flying with products that are right for you.

* If you need more information on these products, spec sheets are available to mail to you.

* Most products are shipped from Helena within 3-6 days of your order. However, certain stock is subject to availability, and may require a waiting period. Please call about availability. If you are significantly closer to our distributor than us, we may arrange, (with your permission), to have the item shipped directly to you from the distributor in order to speed up delivery.

* Not responsible for typos. ALL PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. IN OTHER WORDS, WE WILL DO ANY AND EVERYTHING WE CAN TO HONOR THE PRICES LISTED HERE. HOWEVER DUE TO FLUCTUATIONS IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETS, PRICES MIGHT CHANGE AT ANY TIME; AND THAT IS BEYOND ANYONE'S CONTROL, (except, maybe, Alan Greenspan, but we a'int him!).

* High Plains reserves the right to withdraw any offers, without notice, at any time.

* Personal delivery of your new paraglider and on site familiarization is available, at no charge, to certain areas of Montana. Harness adjustment and fitting is available, at no charge, here at the High Plains shop. Please call if interested in this service.

* For your safety, and to ensure the highest quality product, all gear is thoroughly inspected before being sent to you.


The "UP FRONT" RETURN POLICY

For obvious reasons, we do our best to work with you ensuring we sell you the gear you want, and make it right the first time. If for some reason your purchase does not work out, we will gladly accept exchanges (or returns) of unused equipment. In order to serve you and the next person better, we do require an advance call and an explanation for the return.

Naturally the item must be fit for resale (in new and unused condition, with all original accessories, tags, and packaging included and undamaged). The item must be shipped well packed and insured to High Plains. After its arrival and inspection, your exchange or refund will be immediately issued. Items will be returned to you that are, in our judgment, unfit for resale.

Unfortunately for returned items, there will be a restocking charge. Charges are as follows:

Paragliders: $45

Harnesses (excluding Thin Red Line): $35

All other items: 7% of the purchase price.

!! In our continuing efforts to promote paragliding in the state of Montana, orders/returns from a Montana address are exempt from the restocking charges. This is limited to one return per person per item type. Unless verbally agreed on before hand, normal restocking charges will apply after that.


Keep in mind that these are our guidelines for doing business, put forward for you to see, so that there are no surprises on either end. High Plains knows very well that every customer and situation are different, and require individual treatment. If there are any questions or concerns about any of our policies, please feel free to call us. We will be happy to answer your questions, or at least explain where they came from.
