I love the Southwest!
I love the people here and the wide open spaces. It is so otherworldy beautiful, and we rarely fail to have some of the most beautiful sunsets on Earth

...... I was born in Indiana and started singing in the choir when just a young boy. When I grew older and joined the Air Force, I formed a band and we played at the clubs on base. When I had a tour of duty to Iceland, I used all my spare time practicing and learning new songs and techniques. I always knew I wanted to perform in front of an audience.

In 1990 Bobby Hitt was "discovered" by Mary Reeves, widow of Country Legend Jim Reeves, when he brought a group tour to the Jim Reeves Museum in Gallatin, Tennessee. He was the bus driver, and people on the bus were telling Mrs. Reeves about what a wonderful voice he had. She asked him to sing something "a cappella" and so he did... a rendition of WELCOME TO MY WORLD, at which point, she promptly suggested that he get in touch with Mr. Reeve's former lead guitar player, who by now was a Nashville producer. Mr. Leo Jackson then produced both of Bobby's first two albums," Hitt Country" and "Hitt After Hitt" on Round Robin Records.
Bobby had two new releases on the Independent charts and had a great time "singing for a living" for a few years.

Bobby quit touring for awhile and went back to driving tour buses, his other favorite thing to do. He did keep up with his music and has quite a fan base who are loyal to "The Singing Tour Bus Driver", as he became known. People from as far away as the U.K. would request Bobby as their driver, so they could get a sampling of his easy going singing style. He wasn't a bad driver, either.
He still sold his tapes and often had concerts that became tour packages all of their own. These tour packages are known as "That's Dinnertainment"

......I lived in Indiana off and on ,spent many years in Texas, drove tour buses and ran my own tour company. I always tried to entertain the passengers and would many times treat them to an impromtu concert. They always enjoyed it, and many came back for more trips with "The Singing Tour Bus Driver". I love travelling this great country, but do feel very connected with the Southwest, especially Arizona, Utah, New
Mexico , and Texas

Bobby generates excitement with every show he does, leaving everyone wanting more. His rousing renditions of old favorites get the crowd singing along and his ballads can make your heart warm. He sings many old-fashioned country songs as well as songs by George Strait, Jimmy Buffett, and others. He has two recordings of his own, written by talented songwriters and chosen just for his two albums.
He has recently signed with Comstock Records to promote one of those songs, "Making Love Don't Make It Right" to the European market. Right now, several radio stations in The Netherlands and London have been playing some of his music.
