How to Register for Workshops and Lectures
Please Read Carefully
1. Use a separate registration form for each person. Make a copy for your own records.
2. No telephone registrations will be accepted.
3. Give a 1st and 2nd choice of workshop for each day. This helps if your first choice workshop is full. Include payment for your 1st choice workshop only.
4. Workshops and lectures will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis after May 1, 2000. Registration envelopes should not be postmarked before May 1, 2000. They will be opened in order that they are received. Any envelopes with postmarks before May 1, 2000, will be opened after May 15, 2000. When multiple registrations are received on the same day, they will be processed in random order.
5. Registration for workshops must be received by mail by August 14, 2000. There will be no on-site workshop registrations. From August 21–28, 2000, you can check on the availability of any cancelled workshops by calling Freida Schriner at (785) 354-8352.
6. Lecture tickets can be purchased by mail until September 1, 2000. Lecture tickets only can be purchased at the registration desk at the Holiday Inn West if still available.
7. There is a registration fee of $2 which includes your admission into the quilt show hall for the weekend.
8. Payment must be sent with your registration. Only checks will be accepted. Make check payable to: Kansas Capital Quilters Guild. Mail check with registration form to: Freida Schriner, Registration Chair, 3720 SE 27 Terr., Topeka, KS 66605-1905.
Confirmations:
Beginning June 15, 2000, workshop confirmations will be mailed along with lecture tickets, if applicable.
Cancellations/Refunds:
• Partial Refund—If some of your workshop/lecture requests can not be supplied a refund for that event(s) will be mailed to you.
• Full Refund—If all workshop/lecture requests can not be supplied your original check will be returned to you by mail.
• Cancellation—To cancel a workshop/lecture, a written request with your confirmation form and any lecture tickets must be returned on or before August 14, 2000, to: Freida Schriner, 3720 SE 27 Terr., Topeka, KS 66605-1905, phone (785) 354-8352; all fees will be refunded (minus a handling fee of $2).
If attendee cancels after August 14, no fees will be refunded as funds are totally committed.
