September, 2002
Twenty children living in the Gaoyou orphanage will be among those in the inagural Homeland Education Program in China. These twenty children, ages from 7 to 17, will receive a full scholarship from the Foundation. Each child will receive school tuition, transportation, supplies and clothing. Individual support and a social program of activities will supplement the basic program. Custom designed study rooms will also be readied for these students. Homeland Children's Foundation has made a long term commitment to these children, and to ten others in the nearby Gaochun orphanage. We wish them all the very best as they begin the school year 2002-2003 as Homeland students!

February, 2002:
Homeland Children's Foundation provided the Gaoyou orphanage with a brand new, state of the art incubator. What a difference this will make for medically fragile infants!
Donations from Gaoyou alumni families, together with a generous donation from the Theodore and Renee Weiler Foundation, helped us meet this goal! We'd like to do more, and we need your help........Donations to the Homeland Children's Foundation can be designated for this particular orphanage.
