* Horses are NOT considered SOLD until paid for in full. Registered horses include the original registration certificate(s) and a signed transfer.

* We prefer to have a sale/purchase contract for all sales but require it for any sale where a deposit has been made to hold a horse for more than 2 weeks, or any sale where the buyer is making payments on the horse. This is for both your protection and ours.

* A 25% deposit is required to hold a sale horse. This deposit will "hold" sale horse for 7 days ONLY (unless prior agreements have been made) OR until a foal is ready for weaning. We accept cash, cashiers/bank check, wire transfer or PayPal.

* Deposits are Non-Refundable due to past experiences we and other breeders/sellers have had. The reason for this is detailed in our sales contract. Please do not place a deposit if you know you will not be unable to pay the remainder of the balance.

* For out of state buyers, we will keep the horse for 30 days at our expense and will continue to provide the horse the same care that it is accustomed to until the horse can be picked up/transported. Beyond the 30 days, a board fee of $15.00 per day will be charged. For in state buyers, we will keep the horse for 7 days at our expense. Beyond the 7 days, a board fee of $15.00 per day will be charged. Horse will not leave the farm until paid for in full.

* Horses are sold sound and in good health. Any known injuries, illnesses or past history of such are disclosed as well as training and ownership history. A prepurchase exam is welcomed (and encouraged no matter who you buy your horse from), but is at the expense of the buyer. HopeHaven Farm will pay for the exam only in the event the horse fails the prepurchase exam. We provide a current coggins, record of past worming, vaccinations, and hoof care. We will also provide health certificates for out - of - state buyers.

* All of our foals are sold GUARANTEED sound and healthy. They are handled considerably since birth, especially by the HopeHaven Farm kids and are sold halter broken, leading, loading, picking up all four feet, experience with the farrier, tie, stand for grooming, introduced to bathing and clippers (as our time allows) and also exposed to sights and sounds of a busy everyday farm.

* All of our foals that we bred, are sold Parentage Verified and DNA'd with the AQHA and are enrolled in all eligible programs.

* References happily provided upon request.
