NORM the not so normal GNOME

Site Last Update: 10/05/2005

Hi, I'm Norm the not so normal Gnome and welcome to my website!

Now, what makes me not so normal? Well as you probably already know most Gnomes are a pretty shy lot, living in wooded areas, under mushrooms, in gardens, just to name a few. They are typically seldom see out and about. Oh, sure, there have been a few of us who've had some notority over the years, but they've usually been catapulted to stardom and have ended up shunned by their fellow Gnomes. I, on the other hand, am the not so normal. I seek no fame or notority and try to uphold the Gnome code of being reclusive in nature. My family and fellow Gnomes have applauded me for this. Thanks to my master, he has allowed me to travel with his father around the country to visit different locations. So I can share my adventures via this website with my Gnome bretheren around the world. So check back from time to time to see what I've been up to or my latest travel destination. Below chronicles my first day of travel. After that, check the links to see my weekly adventures. Hope you enjoy my travels as much as I do.

My travels to date:

A brief history about Norm: Click on the picture to learn more about Norm's family

Norm was the very first Gnome my son had. Norm's family has grown considerably since his early days. He started out traveling locally to Scouting summer camps and Junior Leader Training camps. But soon he expanded his travels by traveling thru Dallas, Texas; then on to Albuquerque, New Mexico to camp at the Philmont Scout Ranch. After this trip, he then traveled to the Boy Scout 2001 National Jamboree held at A.P. Hill, Virginia. Along the way, he got to stop in Charlston, WV and then on to visit Washington D.C. for a couple of days. He also visited Camp Woodruff just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. As you and can see in the pictures, he's had a hard life so far with his share of scrapes and scars. The past six months or so he's been relaxing and enjoying the college life at Northern Kentucky University, where my son is attending school. Upon a recent visit to school I asked if Norm would be interested in traveling with me. Being a Gnome, schooling has never been his strong suite and since he's become accustomed to being away from his home and kin, he eagerly jumped at the chance to travel with his master's father.
