WEEK THIRTEEN - VICTORIA, BC, CANADA
My Thirteenth trip, Three days in Victoria,
British Columbia, Canada

After a fun Ferry ride we had to go
thru customs in Sidney, British Columbia before driving down to Victoria.
|

One of the most beautiful areas to
visit is Butchart Gardens. The flowers, the colors, the fragrances,
were fantastic.
|
|

I say, this poor chap, you would think
he'd get cold standing out here, at least there's plenty of sunlight for
him.
|

This reflection pool down in the sunken gardens was
quite beautiful, but I couldn't tell which was the reflection and which
was the real scenery.
|
|

Victoria's Parliment building, around the
corner from the Empress Hotel. Just before night fall you can see how
they really light it up.
|

The Empress Hotel, where we were able
to enjoy High Tea. Scrumteous finger sandwiches and buttered scones.
|
|

All right, check it out. We got to learn
a lot about the area's Pacific Northwest art work, some of which were
dislplayed here at Thunderbird Park.
|

This is were the master carvers work to
create many of the Totem poles in and around the area.
