During my trip to Salt Lake City, Utah I managed to
take a short trip over to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Over 4,000 acres
of nothing but salt, and hard as concrete in most areas. We're going
to see how fast we can go.
We drove about 7 miles out and up
to 100mph on this stuff before turning around. When we got out and stood
on the salt, it stuck to everything. Even the car looked like it had
been thru a snow storm.
On the way back to the city we had to
stop for a beautiful sunset. Thats part of the Great Salt Lake to the
right there.
The sun had yet to set by the time we got back to
the Great Salt Lake State Marina. Just outside of Salt Lake City.
Got to visit another Hard Rock Cafe located in downtown
Salt Lake City.
And of course what would a trip to Salt
Lake City be without visiting the Great Mormon Tabernacle.
