Beach Weddings and More
Greetings! I'm Rev. Diane Thomas-Gonzales. I live in sunny Florida. I'm in Brevard County which is centrally located along the Atlantic Ocean. I live near Cocoa Beach, Melbourne, and Port Canaveral. Orlando, Kissimmee, Daytona Beach , Vero Beach, and Sebastian are about an hour or so away from where I live. I do travel to these and other locations. Some of the places that I perform ceremonies are on the beaches, at resorts, churches, backyards, parks, and on cruise ships.
Beautiful Ceremonies
I officiate ceremonies that are warm, joyous, and heart touching. I assist couples of mixed denominations, couples who are spiritual; but not religious, and couples from traditional religious backgrounds. Couples may choose one of my ceremonies or mix-n-match and create their own unique ceremony. I encourage each couple to select the elements for their ceremony that have meaning for them and reflect their relationship and combined spirituality. You may write your own vows. I offer optional elements such as a family unity sub-ceremony for couples with children, unity candle and a tender honoring of loved ones who are in spirit. I am familiar with Celtic traditions such as the loving cup. All traditions are honored.
Wedding Packages for Destination Weddings
I offer beach wedding packages for couple coming from out of town, out of state, or out of country. I assist many couples who live elsewhere; but want a Florida wedding. Many couples plan a beach wedding in conjunction with a cruise, a family theme park vacation, or a romantic vacation and honeymoon. I can arrange wedding packages that include any of the following services or items: photography, videography, flowers, music, wedding arch, palm tree decorations, chairs, and a cake and beverage beachside reception. Please e-mail or call me with your wedding date and a list of services and items that you might be interested in and I'll give you a quote. Keep in mind that wedding professionals offer discounts for weekday ceremonies; as most their work is on the weekends.
Marriage License Application by Mail
Non-Forida residents planning a Florida wedding can get their marriage license ahead of time through the mail. Blood tests are not required for anyone. I can assist you with the process of getting your marriage license through the mail and completely ready for the Florida ceremony. Yes, before you arrive in Florida! Or, if non-reisdents purchase their license from a court house after arriving in Florida, they may get married on the same day or up to sixty days thereafter. No witnesses are required; only the officiant is required to be present and perform the ceremony and then legalize and file the marriage license.
