Some Helpful Cleaning tips:
* Purchase some good floor mats and place them inside and outside of each
entrance. This will help to prevent dirt from being tracked in from the
outside.
* Use a handy carrying basket or an apron with pockets to keep your
supplies in.
* Use an extension cord on you vacuum, this will help to prevent
backtracking.
* Drag a laundry basket or large box around to pick up things up that
don’t belong in that room, move it from room to room taking out and
adding items.
* Work one room at a time and stay until it’s completed. Work from top
to bottom, start with ceiling fans and walls and end with lower dusting
and floors.
* Work clockwise around the room.
* Dust before you vacuum.
* Clean the doorknobs, they are the dirtiest part of the house and often
forgotten.
* Stop procrastinating, set aside a day or weekend and just do it...
However, if you can’t do the work or don’t want to, hire a cleaning
company to help you.

TIPS FOR ORGANIZING YOUR HOME
* Use under the bed storage. This is an excellent spot for extra blankets, books, comforters, etc. You can purchase containers designed specifically for this purpose. Some even have casters that allows easier access.
* Buy a wicker or ceder chest to replace coffee or end tables. These items look great and offer easily accessible storage.
* Store extra blankets between the box-spring and mattress.
* Place an ice-cube tray in your dresser drawer to hold small jewelry and trinkets.
* Keep your sheet sets together. For each set, fold top and bottom sheet and any pillow cases. Stick them all in one of the pillow cases for neat storage and easy access.
* Leave a few fresh plastic bags in the bottom of each garbage can. When you empty the garbage, a new liner will always be handy.
* Install a row of big cup hooks onto a wooden coat hanger. Use it in the closet to hang belts, scarves, ties, small purses, etc.
