I am very fortunate to have had my Tia's and Tio's living to tell me what they knew of their father Augustin Arriola Lopez. I have
learned in Mexico the mother's maiden name is written last. Keep in mind when you read their names, it is helpful in researching
your family tree. I have gone back as far as 1858 and still working. Sostenes and his sister Genoveva baptised my grandfather Augustin Arriola

Maria Jesus Arriola Negrete she
married Antonio Beltran. Sostenes
had 11 siblings.
This is another cousin to Remigio and
Sostenes. I am still trying to find out her
parents names, family history gets lost
and its hard to find unless you get lucky.
Fiesta de la Vigin de la Luz
Rev. Ricardo Colin Negrete who is a priest in Mexico City, his
grandmother is Maria Arriola Negrete, who is Sostenes's sister.Tio Ricardo has been a blessing  he has been very resourcefull in helping me fill in the blanks and finding so many more relatives.
I  have made two trips to Abasolo, I have met new found relatives and on the internet.  
This website has been very resourceful for me, a first cousin Carlos Negrete
to Rev. Ricardo who is from Bethlehem, P A. contacted me, his
father came to the USA in 1921 to work at Bethlehem Steel. The Arriola
Family Reunion 2004 will have Arriola's from Mexico, Bethlehem, PA.,
Abasolo, GTO, Colorado, Arizona and California and more from the East Coast.
The Reunion will be held in San Bernardino, California June 19, 2004. It will be
great to meet them for the first time!
