Hello and Welcome to Ice Angel Samoyeds home on the web!  Ice Angel Samoyeds is located in East Central Indiana. We are a very small intimate kennel, all of our dogs live inside our home along side us. Our Samoyeds are bred to illustrate correct breed type, movement, structure and temperament.  All of our dogs are checked for hereditary diseases and conditions before they become part of our breeding program. We breed with the intention to improve the breed as a whole and for the pleasure of showing our dogs in the AKC show rings.   We are in good standing with the American Kennel Club, The National Samoyed Club of America and two All Breed Clubs.   We are very proud of our dogs and all of their accomplishments.  All 4 of our dogs and the puppies we produce are family companions first.  Showing is just a "part-time" job for them.  They spend much more time at home than they do at dog shows, and must have the proper temperament to be a member of the human family.  Our puppies are born and raised in our home so they get used to the noise of everyday life. The puppies we produce are our "furry grandkids" and we carefully screen potential buyers in order to find "just the right home" for them. We like to keep in touch with new owners and enjoy the pictures and cute stories we've received over the years.  When you purchase a puppy from us, you become part of the Ice Angel Samoyed "family".  We are always available for consultation and advice for the life of each Samoyed we produce.
We began our dog showing hobby in February 2002 when we adopted our first show dog, Jaylin.  We had no idea what we were getting into!  Jaylin finished his AKC championship rather quickly with a total of 4 majors.  He placed in the group as a puppy & won many best of breeds as well as group placings all with being owner handled by myself who had no idea what I was doing!  Jaylin is a big beautiful boy with tons of personality who is a total Mama's boy!  Jaylin was the #1 Samoyed dog in the USA in 2006 and was invited to Westminster in New York.  We then adopted a female Samoyed, Belle, in September 2003 for our daughter to show in Jr. Handling.  Belle is a average size bitch &  has such a loving personality.  In August 2005 we had our first litter of Samoyed puppies.  One of those puppies we "got stuck with"  finished her AKC championship by winning a Group 1.  Bailey is such a sweetheart, she is a total couch potato lap dog who thinks she is a Queen!  We currently  are 'babysitting' Isabelle, another puppy from the August 2005 litter.  She finished her AKC Championship & came to live with us while her owner travels the country showing other dogs.  She is a joy to have here and is never seen without a toy in her mouth.
