He was born in the year 1840. His mother, Louise Monet, gave birth on November 14, 1840. Monet was born in France, Paris.
He lived for eighty-six years, and he died on December 5, 1926 in France, Giverny. He died of lung cancer. In the past, people only lived to be about fourty years of age. Claude was very lucky to live such a long and interesting life. Monet was known to be very talented, hardworking, an impressionist painter, and an admirer of nature.
