If you use a KJV Computer bible to search for the word "Lamb" in the book of Revelation,
the word "Lamb" is there in 27 verses. All but one, # REV 13:11, is describing Jesus.
Therefore John the Baptist was given the prophecy of and wrote Revelation before he baptized
Jesus. (# JOH 1:29-33 # MAT 3:13-16 MAR 1:9 LUK 3:21) I used to wonder, why did John the Baptist
out of the blue call Jesus "the Lamb".

JOH 1:29
    The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith,
    Behold the Lamb of God, (First use of the word Lamb in the new testiment)
    which taketh away the sin of the world.

     There is a long time where there are no prophets. Jesus says that there were no new
prophets after Jesus and John the Baptist. (# DEU 18:17-19 # JOH 12:49 8:28 # LUK 16:16)
God the Father says after Armageddon he will again give prophecy to us. (# ZEC 14:2-3 # EZE 38:2,5-6,15-16 39:2 # JOE 2:20,28)

    that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
