Located approximately 15 miles from the white sand beaches of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and an hour from the Fairgrounds Race Course, Red Oak Farm is ideal farm setting to board your mare or young horse, lay-up your race horse, or send your race horse in training for galloping and/or schooling.
Limited boarding and/or pasturing is available for non-racing horses.
Red Oak Farm is named for the numerous red oaks dotting the property, however, the ancient live oaks, poplar trees and wild magnolias are what get your attention.
Deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, foxes and lots of other wildlife are seen almost daily here. Around the farm house and yard, there are always kittens, puppies, goats, a few horses and at least one llama wandering freely checking out visitors and just generally keeping their noses in everybody's business.
Just about anything concerning horses interests us here at the farm. E-mail us with any questions about Red Oak Farm or our horse training programs.
Also, I've included some links that we like. Lots of horse stuff. Enjoy.
