Mixed media artist Jacqueline Sullivan creates abstract works on stretched canvas and varied surfaces using various materials such as acrylics, textured tissue paper, aluminum foil, cheesecloth, metallic paints, stamping, stenciling, foil stamping

and more. Artists in any media can learn new techniques from Jacqueline to try in their art.

Learn to build a collage painting using all types of acrylic media. Students will learn to use found images and text gathered from a variety of sources, including photos and printed material that is unique to this region in Italy. Students will build painterly collages on unstretched canvas or canvas boards. Layered painting techniques, color systems and more will be and integral part of the class. Learning to add depth and mystery to your work. Instructor will demonstrate her own methods of applying fluid acrylics in transparent glazes and mediums. Plenty of hands-on experience, demonstrations, and valuable critiques on composition.
