Misty Blazed Gold is now31 months old, stands almost 15.3 hands and weights1033 pounds. She has gained weight back from losing the 120 after the surgery for the collapsed small intestine. She is recovering nicely. She still has a hernia in the incision but my vet says it will heal and if not , he can fix it. Be another 8 months before she can go back into training. The reward of this horse trying so very hard to please and to return the caring that I gave her is an emotional high.
Again, the sacrifices made will be worth the trouble just to be able to enjoy the racing and to have the horse enjoy it as well.
