Welcome to my Planted Aquarium Page!

Hello, and welcome to my aquarium page! My name is Katie, and I live in Lawrence, KS. These are some pictures of a few of my planted tanks over the years. This is my old 55 planted tank. Unfortunatly, I couldn't bring it with me when I moved, but I like it so well that I am keeping pictures of it up. It had several diffferent schools of fish, including diamond tetras, brilliant rasboras, small pencilfish, cherry barbs, longfinned leopard danios, black mollies, longfinned rosy barbs, and siamese algae eaters. My favorite plant was a "mother" ozelot sword. (right side of tank) Close runner-ups are my dwarf lilly (center right) and marble queen radican sword (left part of tank). I am also very happy with my Aponogeton ulvaceus and my Hygrophilia polysperma "tropical sunset".

This is the planted tank I keep currently. It is an Oceanic 72 Bowfront. It has many types of plants, but there are predominantly swords (yes, that is an Indian Red Sword on the left side), anubias, lillies, and aponogeton.

Below is a close-up of some of my favorite fish for the planted aquaria, the Green Fire Tetra. Also, you can see the red sword and aponogetons are in the background.
