Volunteers needed to help preserve Italian culture through costume and dance!

|
We perform approximately once or twice a month at various events around Milwaukee such as Festa Italiana, Folk Fair, various events at the Italian Community Center and many other festivals, church functions, weddings, baptisms, etc.
We occasionally perform in surrounding areas such as Chicago, Madison, Kenosha and Racine and also have traveled even further to places such as Ironworld Discovery Center in Minnesota.
We attend IFAFA (Italian Folk Art Federation of America) conferences which are held all around America approximately every other year. These conferences are great fun, where we socialize and exchange dances with other Italian dance groups. In fall of 2003, we will be attending the conference held in Ohio. You do not need to know how to dance to join our group! We will teach you everything you need to know. It's easy and a lot of fun!
We rehearse at the Italian Community Center in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin every Tuesday from 7:15-9:00 p.m. Please stop by any Tuesday to watch our rehearsal and see if this might be something you're interested in! Or send us an email at ItalianGrp@aol.com for more information.
