WHERE WE ARE, WHAT WE DO:
We are conveniently located off of the Cross Bay Parkway at 1004 Church Road in Broad Channel, Queens, NY 11693. The IYC is a members only facility, over 100 years old, fronting the now pristine waters of Jamaica Bay. Our location is near the Rockaways and Rockaway Inlet, affording quick and safe access to the bay and the Atlantic. We are also near the scenic seafaring community of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Our activities are primarily geared to the creeation and maintenance of a safe family friendly atmosphere for our members and their guests. Most activities are fishing and water related. Many of our members are active fishing fans, and can be seen during their free time either tinkering with their boats, getting under way to fish, or setting sail for a pleasure cruise on some of the members privately owned and operated watercraft (both power and sail).

NOR'EASTER 2007: The Nor'Easter of the winter of 2007 did some damage to the IYC. Photos from Bill Krzyzanowski illustrate the point.
