After the birth of her daughter, Rebecca continued to live in Caroline Co. MD with her parents but she sent her daughter to live with her married sister Henrietta Carty Morgan who was living with her husband in Kent Co., DE.

Elmira later married into the Kent Co. community when she married Isaiah MUNCE and Rebecca went to live with her daughter and son-in-law in DE. She appears with them in later census records.

When Elmira died, her death certificate listed her father's name as James MASON but we have no information on him.
