Thomas Durham was the son of Daniel Durham and his wife, Elenor. In 1779 he was mentioned in the will of his father. He was to receive the sum of 50 pounds from his brother Benjamin "when he shall arrive to age" indicating he was a minor. He was probably born sometime before 1775. Sometime in August 1795, Thomas Durham died. His estate was administered by Thomas Hughes and Hugh Talbot. On 14 August, 1795 an inventory of his estate was appraised at 103 pounds, 6 shillings and 3 pence. Estate papers filed in 1800 indicated that his widow, MARY, had subsequently married the executor of Thomas' estate, Thomas Hughes. In 1805 the final administration papers were filed listing widow, Mary and the following children:
