Around 1849, she married Benjamin Durham and moved to Jolley's Neck Farm. As a Hansor, Sallie Ann was probably descended from William Hansor, the original owner of Jolley's Neck as was her husband Benjamin.

On 1 September, 1888, Benjamin Durham died. Sally Ann died on 11 November, 1905. Her death certificate lists her age as 81, her race as Moor and the cause of death as old age & general debility. Both are buried behind the church at Fork Branch, on land that originally belonged to Jolley's Neck.
