Miss Dorothy Ferguson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Ferguson, 64 Colbert ave., announces her engagement to Pfc. Francis Reed, son of Mrs. Hazel Reed of Knox.  The wedding will take place in the near future.
The birde-elect attended Struth___? high school in Ohio and Pfc. Reed attended Knox high school.
Before his entrance into the service in December of 1943, Pfc. Reed was employed at the Knox Glass Plant. He is now stationed in Miami Beach, Fla.

have returned to their home at 1123 East Second Street, Oil City, after a short wedding trip.  Miss Marie Kulgh and Mr. Engilsh were  married in the parsonage of St. Stephen's Church, June 4, by the pastor, the Rev. J. F. Fielding.  They were attended by Miss Virginia Klugh and James Wiliamson, both of Oil City.
