Copper Rockfish

On a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium I spied this rockfish suspended over its own sign. Over many visits to the aquarium, I've never seen such a perfect posing before.

Due to very dim light, I had to steady my camera on the safety rail and hold it very still, as the camera needed a long shutter speed to avoid motion blur. Even so, the slight up and down bobbing of the fish caused a slight blur anyway.

The first image I made was kind of fuzzy. For this, the second and final version, I waited until a shark passed behind, for a little more action.
