Lord; send me the serenity, the surpassing peace of mind,
through troubling times of each and every kind.
Lord; remind me to recall all that you've done for me,
so that I may be joyous and from discouragement set free.
Lord; strengthen me with the strength to overcome adversity in your name,
and always to remember each victory and how far it is we came.
Lord; help me not to become so burdened that I don't see,
the needs of others, but to act unselfishly.
Lord; teach me in tenderness, in the power of your name,
so what you do and what I do, will be one in the same.
