Lithography is a planographic process, which means that the printing surface is flat not raised as in relief or depressed as in intaglio (etching or engraving technique). Lautrec has become closely identified with the lithograph. He practically invented the color lithographic poster.

My reproductions are made with acrylic paint on birchwood. To protect the wood and color I put on a coat of polyurathane.
