This is Windsor Ruins, the location that inspired my newest time travel. This is a beautiful area near the Natchez Trace, and you can see why my imagination went wild when I stumbled across this setting. Hopefully I'll have information on a release date for this newest book soon. (Working title, Spirit of the Ruins)

ŠAlex Ginsburg Photographic Arts
This picture was taken during the same shoot as the "biker" picture on my home page. Alex Ginsburg, the photographer, liked the picture so much, he decided to use it in his ad in Mid-South Bride Magazine. What I love about this picture is what is doesn't show. The wedding gown belonged to a friend of mine and was nearly 25 years old. It had been worn by her sister last, and there were so many stains on it, it looked like they'd had a food fight at the reception. Underneath it I'm wearing black leather pants and biker boots, and the gown was taken up so much for my friend's tiny sister, it's only zipped up about halfway in back. Add to that the fact that my hair is in a ponytail and I'm wearing almost no makeup, and you have the complete "glamourous" ambience of a photo shoot! Oh, yes, I mustn't forget that my dressing room for this shoot was basically cramming myself into the back of my Explorer.

My only picture with a real life celebrity. I could say that Nora Roberts came up to me and asked to get a picture with me, but I have a feeling no one would buy that, so I'll just 'fess up and admit that it was the other way around. I DID get to go to her cocktail party, though. I can tell you that my goal is to be able to throw a party like she does some day!

This is our baby, Bear. Believe it or not, he weighs about 70lb. in this picture! He believes the world was created to adore and worhip him, and he lets you know if he isn't being appropriately worshipped.

This is at our daughter's wedding. We'd given up on the shoes and decided to go for comfort. Notice the "Cinderella glass slippers." Her Prince Charming was talked into slipping the glass slipper on her foot in the next picture.

Prince Charming and his Cinderella. I love the expression of the little girl who's watching.

And, the ubiquitous "feeding of the wedding cake" picture. :D
