Horror and Sci-Fi Movies! From Now On, We'll Start Getting It Right!

Horror and Sci-Fi movies have, of course, been the back-bone of strange sounds like Theremin and Tannerins and Trautoniums and such. To look back, I must have been affected by all the cool background sounds of all the old movies! Can ya' tell!!

Just to say originally I was just going to put together a bunch of theremin shows to play a lot of the old sci-fi/horror soundtrack pieces for some neat gigs to gain $ for geo-thermal promo. It was that proverbial lightbulb going off over my head that made me decide to see about making movies also. Look how many imaginations have been moved by images seen in certain movies. Also, I wanted to make Surround Sound sountracks for other people, but I decided that if I will have to build the instruments anyways- I might as well get the movies done also. I don't want to be a "glory hog" and grab all the promo. I know I am not a movie person and there are lots of people that need to earn a decent wage and will want to do lots of things to get this done. There are a lot of firsts I am hoping for. They aren't vitally important, but would be totally neat if possible. If I can get a video camera company to finish up my design of a discrete-pixel isolated laser camera, that would be killer. I came up with a way to make a digital receptor have each pixel in a camera only recieve "Roman fired" images- what is directly in its path- and during its "blank" phase, use laser firing from each pixel to record depth for each pixel. That means you will record full depth all the time without the need to focus while filming. You can set the focus during editing. Or leave it full focus and theoretically the image will look like a cartoon in that front and back are crystal clear. On paper it is the absolute best that an image can look going to TV. Also the camera was supposed to have a RAM only onboard recording taking advantage of the newer High Megabite RAM memory. Someone beat me to that, though. Over the last several years I have begged lots of my electronic friends to help me get this designed but no one thinks there is a market for it. Anyways- if I get it done, it will be the first movie with "perfect digital" recording and Motionless Camera recording (that doesn't mean the camera sits still, it means there are no moving parts in the cameras). Then I wanted to have the first live Surround Sound recording of an indy movie. Not only a boom mic all the time, but full quad recorded live. When a zombie or such goes into a cave, you will feel like your in the cave when you watch the movie in 5.1 SS. Then I wanted an all 5.1 soundtrack not only from a basic 5.1 mixdown but with custom-built instruments that record to tape in 5.1SS. Multi out guitars and theremins and drums and such. I used to mod electric guitars and acoustic stuff and especially electric and acoustic drums and cymbals. Me and my band modded more percussion stuff than you could ever count! This is my original plan and it will get done no matter what happens with everything else! Then I wanted to be the first to use real earth tremors and background rumblings live recorded as effects in a movie- on Planet Volcanosche, when the earth rumbles while fighting the Iron Zombies, it REALLY rumbles! Then I want to be the first to film a non-documentary movie around a real active volcano! I know that is dangerous, but we'll figure a safe way around it. Then, if possible, I want to be the first to use as a prop, an advanced energy device. In this case, a probe-looking thing that would go into the heat source that circulates steam and gets energy. Of course there has to be a cool place for it to condense back to water or else have constant water source. You can see why I wanted to make this in Iceland. That place is perfect for this movie! I am trying to get some geo-thermal equipment mftrs to make something for promo. Then I want to be considered the one that tried to make his sci-fi/horror the least "impossible fantasy" as possible. I know that sounds like I'm trying to satisfy the "nerds" that always complain about exactness, but I just want the public to see what is actually possible and not just improbable fantasy. Then I want to be the first to make an indy film designed for the public that is financed as much as possible by govt grant $. I want this done FOR art reasons and not the other way around. Before you go "Huh!?" let me say- Artists usually make that claim that they have a great personal propoganda that is their art and they claim to be as little capitalistic as possible or tied to anyone else especially the govt which is fine and all, but I am a little different- I WANT to be chained to the govt and as it just so happens, to drag them all, kicking and screaming into MY art! All of my life, I have had to hear that cliche- "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" so many times I can't begin to count. Well, I have news for everyone, it's been broke- for a long time- and we're fixin' it! And, by the way, this has nothing to do with some left-over pseudo-socialist subserviantists, disguised as pill-chomping hippies pretend-dancing with a bunch of tweety birds and deer in the woods. I have preached the great sciences ALL-L-L-L of my life. Then, I originally wanted to be someone that had an online only downloaded movie that was in all formats, all varieties for the entire world to download for a fee. Not because of the material use to be saved, but more for an advancement image. A lot of places are trying this already so I won't be the first at that, if even possible. Still a good idea, though. Also, I like the idea of everybody having a way to guarantee a receipt of pay. They can easily see how much the movie actually made. My cameras were supposed to record PAL and NSTC at the same time and at different F per Sec. I know that would have to be a real advanced camera, but that's how much I wanted to get it done! Oh well... Then I wanted to be the first indy guy to purposely try to out-advance the big guys. The very idea that a "low budget" movie could be released and shock the industry, and not in a " it's just a Blair Witch fluke" kind of way. The idea of them coming to us for info is the best of all! And then I wanted what I think is the best idea- to use someone as a director that is actually a good actor. We have all seen those movies with real pitiful acting and I can only guess that the directors just don't know what bad acting is. My logic is, we are supposed to have advanced the actual camera work so much that all that time isn't neccesay to be spent thinking of the actual camera as much as what is going into it! I spent a lot of time trying to come up with someone and as I tried to think of someone to approach, I noticed in a lot of the low budget movies there are a few people that appear a lot. I won a bunch of vids on Ebay and I noticed that a lady named Debbie Rochon was in a huge number of them. I saw a couple of her movies and realized she was light years (no pun intended) ahead of everyone else! Bing! There it is! The perfect candidate to direct our movies. I can see her coming up with all kinds of people to make the movies with. So not only will I be someone to purposely pick an actor to be a director, but I'll pick someone that has never directed before! At least I don't think she has! And if I get the cameras built that I want to use, the first to direct with my perfect digital units! I probably won't be able to get them done in time, though. So there it is, a completely 5.1 SS recorded movie, instruments included, recorded in actual caves and volcanoes and other exotic places, with the coolest of all sci-fi instruments- the theremin and tannerins and trautoniums, directed by Debbie Rochon and maybe even starring Brinke Stevens (I must admit, seeing her as an Iron Zombie, having a weapon get shattered over her small body is a perfect horror image!) has got to be the best idea I have ever heard of as a movie! The best of all worlds (pun kinda' intended!). Let me go as I have lots and lots and lots to do!
