Pleasant Bay Ambulance
PBAS
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the crew of Air Evac 16 of the Shoals. While on a search for a lost hunter the Helicopter went down killing all 3 crew members. Alan Bragwell, the Paramedic on the crew was a close friend of mine. We worked together for several years, and went to Paramedic school together.  Alan was a great Medic and always fun to be around He will be missed by all in EMS.
BEWARE OF IMPOSTERS!!
We have built an Ambulance Service and a good reputation in our service area by being good to our patients and giving a good, top level service to all that call us for help. One of the things we have used to make us stand out from the croud is the "Call The Ones In Green" slogan. It must be working better than we thought, another area Ambulance Service has decided to copy us!!! They have green on their trucks and wear green shirts with the same markings that we have, just a different name. I think this was done to confuse people and make them think they are getting us when they are really getting a cheap copy!! When you call for an ambulance ask for us by name or you may get a substandard green wannabe. Ask for Pleasant Bay Ambulance Service, locally owned and opperated, Alabama State Licensed Paramedic service with modern up-to date equipment and people that care about the patient.
